The Fishing

How many fishing trips you take will be decided by you. All of the fishing trips will be on beautiful Lake Lanier. On each fishing trip you will walk down to your private dock and the professional Lake Lanier fishing guide will pick you up at the dock. The first fishing trip will be with a professional guide set up by Lake Lanier fishing adventures LLC. Lake Lanier Fishing Adventures LLC. uses the best professional fishing guides on Lake Lanier with the best fishing boats and equipment. The second fishing trip will be with Ralph Herrin of Lake Lanier Fishing Adventures LLC. in his 28' Marinette. This large fishing boat with a TV, stereo, stove, bathroom and plenty of fishing room makes for a very relaxed and enjoyable fishing trip where the fishing is serious but relaxing, having fun and enjoying the beautiful sights of Lake Lanier is the main objective.

Another option of fishing trips to enjoy during your stay at Lake Lanier Fishing Adventures LLC. is night fishing for catfish. On this trip you will be taken out two hours before the sun goes down to a secluded Island on Lake Lanier with a white sandy beach area. It is a beautiful sight to watch the sun set on Lake Lanier.

Fire wood for a fire and a grill for cooking will be brought along with chairs, table, and all the necessary fishing equipment. Along the beach area six pvc fishing rod holders will be driven into the sand approximately fifteen yards apart from each other. If you have ever seen someone shark fishing off the beach then you can envision how this is done, the only difference is we are fishing for catfish not sharks, although the legend is and some will tell you there are catfish as big as sharks in Lake Lanier. The story is there was a traffic accident on Buford Dam Road at the Dam where a Volkswagen was knocked into Lake Lanier. Divers were sent in and quickly returned to the surface with fear in their eyes stating there were catfish circling the Volkswagen almost as big as the Volkswagen. The story is they were so worried about the catfish they refused to go back down. Some will tell you this is nothing but a legend but some locals say believe what you want but it is true and Lake Lanier holds catfish as big as a Volkswagen.
